We have an exciting opportunity for you to apply to our panel for the appointment of private attorneys to represent indigent parties in criminal, juvenile and dependency matters in the California Court of Appeal.

Compensation: Current pay rates per hour based on type of case:
$110 - Assisted
$120 - Independent
$130 - Upper Tier Independent
Professional Liability Coverage under CAP’s policy for panel attorneys in cases where the appointment is made through CAP-LA.
Factors Considered:
Demonstrated interest in criminal, delinquency, dependency, or mental health defense.
Prior experience.
Writing, research and analytical skills.
